The Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp stepped off the Reds’ coach in Kiev and swerved away from the blonde who tried to kiss him on the cheek from behind a barrier.
Klopp, who lost to Borussia Dortmund in 2013, is now ready to take his chances against back-to-back Champions League winners Real Madrid.
He said: “We had an early agreement with the players that I am responsible for the defeats and they take credit for winning.
“We are Liverpool, we can fight and we can go for the big things.
“We have to be prepared for the big moments. The players will be a little bit nervous.
“But they can fight with their team-mates, they can shoot, strike a ball, cross, do bicycle kicks if they want, do all the things they ever wanted to do in a football game.”
Klopp readily accepts that Real Madrid have more quality, that Cristiano Ronaldo, Sergio Ramos and Toni Kroos are superior footballers.
He added: “Our biggest strength, 100 per cent, is the spirit we created.
“Nine months ago we were a good football team, but the boys are ready for the big things now.
