Super Eagles Star Dropped From UCL Clash Due To Bad Behaviour

Super Eagles star Emmanuel Dennis has been sent off from Club Brugge’s Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night on disciplinary grounds.

The 23-year-old Nigerian international has scored once in three appearances for the Belgian side in the competition this season.

Club Brugge coach Philippe Clement told a press conference ahead of Tuesday night’s game at Signal Iduna Park: “Dennis will not be in the national team tomorrow. He is missing for disciplinary reasons.

“He is fit, but he is not in the national team against Dortmund.

“Dennis has broken some club rules. That is the only reason. I will not elaborate on his situation. “

However, he will also be fined after he angrily got off the team bus because he was not allowed to sit where he wanted.

Club Brugge is third in Group F with four points from three games, while Lazio is second with five points, while FC Zenit is last in one point.

They fight against the Dortmund leaders tonight in the continuation of the competition.
