REPORT: Ronaldo Link With A Move Back To Old Trafford

Former Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked to a return to Manchester United from Juventus.

Ronaldo, 35, still has a lot to offer in the top flight and has already scored six goals in six Serie A games so far this season, despite being held back by coronavirus in recent weeks.
Ronaldo left Manchester United for Real Madrid in 2009 for a world record fee.

“Our sources in Manchester and Porto confirm that Manchester United have tempted Cristiano Ronaldo with a return to the club next season,” read ESPN journalist Christian Martin’s tweet.

“The Portuguese is analyzing it. Juventus would negotiate if asked [the move]. “
Cristiano has a contract with Juventus until June 2022 and was seen as an important signing for the club, as they sought to move to the next level, but the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has caused his high salary to become a heavy load.
While playing for Real Madrid in 2014, Cristiano admitted that he would like to return to Manchester United one day.

“I love Manchester,” he stated. “Everyone knows that.
Manchester is in my heart. The fans are incredible and I would like to come back one day ”.
Ronaldo joined Manchester United in 2003 from Sporting Lisbon, winning three Premier League titles and one Champions League with the Red Devils. He scored 118 goals in 292 games.

Juventus is open to the deal, as their goal is to reduce their salary spending before next season.
