Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has ranked Bruno Fernandes ahead of him.
Fernandes has been an integral part of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team since moving to Old Trafford last January and has been directly involved in 52% of United’s goals in the Premier League since their debut.
Scholes is a huge fan of the midfielder and told United’s official website: “What he’s doing is phenomenal, really.
“I think if you look, since he’s been [here]United would be the best in the league if they won their game in hand, with more points than Liverpool, which is strange to really think because they have had a bad start to the season.
“Well, you thought it was a bad start to the season, but they are still there and I think they can only get better. The numbers it has produced are just ridiculous, let’s hope it continues. “
Scholes added: “He’s better than me. He is different from me. Score more goals than me, create more goals than me. I’d like to play with him, probably behind him would be fine.
“But no, it was sensational, a big difference. I think that before he came to the team, United could hardly create an opportunity with some of the things they were playing, but now it seems they can score three, four or five goals in every game.
