Nigerian Politician Orji Kalu Wants To Buy Arsenal

Orji Kalu, governor of Abia state for two terms, is said to be ready to buy a 35 percent stake in Arsenal, according to mirror.

Kalu, who is a Nigerian senator serving in the National Assembly, aims to help the Gunners end their 16-year wait for the Premier League with his investments.

“Our success with Enyimba FC between 2000 and 2007 has continually increased my passion for football,” said Kalu.

“As a pillar of sport in Africa, I am considering an investment in football and will buy 35 per cent of the shares of Arsenal FC.

“Our goal is to lift the Champions League and the EPL, and also a valuable investment.

“Doing what you love and loving it is where greatness lies. I need 35 percent of Arsenal to regain trophies. “
