Neymar will return from injury with Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1 on Friday with a view to face RB Leipzig in a crucial Champions League match next week, the club said.
The Brazilian, who has been out since injuring his thigh against Turkish club Basaksehir in the Champions League on October 28, arrived in training with the PSG squad without issue on Thursday.
Coach Thomas Tuchel said Thursday that Neymar could play “a few minutes” against Monaco.
The injury ruled him out of the World Cup qualifiers in Brazil during the international break.
PSG, last season’s beaten finalist, need to beat Leipzig at home on Tuesday to stay in contention and qualify for the round of 16.
Kylian Mbappé is also back in PSG’s call-up for the visit to the principality despite being concerned about injuries since the beginning of the season.
Italian pair Marco Verratti and Mauro Icardi are not yet ready to return from injury, but PSG coach Thomas Tuchel said he hoped they would be available for selection against Leipzig.
