Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson tests positive for Covid-19
Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson tested positive for coronavirus.
The 24-year-old England International showed up for preseason training three weeks ago but is believed to have tested positive for Covid-19 later that week and missed friendlies with Derby County, Queens Park Rangers and Brentford.
United said in a statement: “Dean Henderson will miss Manchester United’s training camp in Scotland as he continues to recover from prolonged fatigue after contracting a COVID-19 infection three weeks ago.
“He is expected to return to training soon.”
Henderson is believed to have attended England’s European Championship final defeat at Wembley, where fans without tickets forced their way into the stadium.
