Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha has become the latest high-profile soccer star to test positive for COVID-19.
According to the Eagles, as Palace is affectionately called, Zaha already isolates herself according to established health standards.
The 28-year-old was out of a loss to Burnley in the Premier League on Monday.
“He does not feel particularly ill, but unfortunately the test showed [positive], and you are following procedures. “
Zaha has been a key player for Palace this season, scoring five goals in the Premier League.
Crystal Palace hosts Newcastle on Friday, November 27.
Meanwhile, the Premier League announced on Monday that there were eight new positive tests from 1,530 players and club staff between Monday, November 16 and Sunday, November 22.
He added that those who tested positive would isolate themselves for 10 days.
