Harry Kane loses Range Rover to thieves via electronic device

Harry Kane is recovering well from ankle injury

England Captain Harry Kane’s £ 100,000 Range Rover was stolen out of an address in East London, according to reports.

The Sun claims the thieves used an electronic device to unlock the £ 100,000 car in Chingford, before leaving with it.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed to have received a report of a vehicle stolen from outside a residential property recently.

“Officers contacted the victim and carried out investigations. No suspects were identified, ”said a statement from the force.

The Met said the investigation had been closed, adding: “If new investigative opportunities or evidence are established, this will be reviewed.”

A gang is believed to have attacked Kane’s vehicle after being filmed driving alongside him on several occasions.

He is the third Tottenham player to be robbed in recent months, with teammate Dele Alli and former Spurs star Jan Vertonghen also targeted by armed robbers.

A gang is believed to have attacked Kane’s vehicle after being filmed driving alongside him on several occasions.

Alli was detained at knife point during a raid on his north London home in May, while Vertonghen’s property was raided by armed robbers while he was playing in the Champions League in Germany.

Sources close to Kane say police have warned him that his stolen Range Rover is unlikely to be recovered after an investigation did not identify any suspects.

The striker is said to have been told that there is little chance of finding the culprits due to the “sophisticated” technology used to steal the engine.
