Fatai Osho: Enyimba expecting a difficult match from FC Rahimo

Stanley Dimgba kept his feet on the pedals of his excellent scoring, controlling Cyril Olisema's scrape pass to send a low shot and give Enyimba the lead four minutes before the break. Three minutes later, the young Anayo Iwuala led a quick counterattack to set up Victor Mbaoma, who took his place from the edge of the box, giving Fatai Osho's team a two-goal lead at the break.

Enyimba head coach Fatai Osho says his team will work hard to get good results against an improved team from FC Rahimo as they appear ready to start their campaign in the champions league.

The People’s Elephant is absent in Ouagadougou for the first leg of the CAF Champions League fixtures against Burkina Faso Premier League champion Rahimo.

Both teams meet on the same stage for the second consecutive season, Enyimba defeated Burkina Babes 5-1 on aggregate to advance to the next round last season.

Speaking before the game, Osho cautioned his team not to underestimate their opponents and believes that they have improved as a team over the year.

“Rahimo’s team has a team that can really compete. Regardless of the result we obtained against them last time, we must not get carried away, ”warned Fatai Osho.

“We have to look at what they are doing right now. We have to be honest with ourselves, it is no longer the same team. For their part, they would have added one or two players, in the same way on our part ”.

“Holding onto the outcome last time will not be of any benefit to us. We have to work very hard to get the necessary result, ”the former Remo Stars player told Footballgalore.com.ng

The match is scheduled for Sunday at Stade du 4 Aout, Ouagadougou and will be led by Ghanaian referee Abdul Latif Qadiri.
