Super Eagles forward Dennis Bonaventure is back in the Club Brugge squad for the league clash with Excel Mouscron on Saturday.
Dennis missed the club’s UEFA Champions League loss to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday after being sent off the team due to a disciplinary problem.
The Nigerian forward enraged his club hierarchy by exiting the team bus for a seat, then was fined and asked to train outside the team.
Ahead of Club Brugge’s league game, manager Phillipe Clemente has confirmed that this star forward is back in the squad after offering an apology to his colleagues and the club in general.
“The Nigerian has apologized to the staff, the management and the player group and is now starting over.
“That’s the end for me,” Clement said during his weekly press talk. “On Saturday he will be in the selection for the game against Mouscron.” He said.
Dennis has yet to reach top form for the Belgian champions this season, having only found the back of the net three times.
