CAFCL: Rabiu Ali drums for support for Kano Pillars

Some soccer fans in the country have given the League Management Company (LMC) a pat on the back for doling out punishments following the show of Shame involving the Premier League's mainstays of Kano and team captain Rabiu Ali.

Nigerian Professional Soccer League champion Kano Pillars FC landed in Dakar, Senegal’s capital, ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup on Friday.

Sai Masu Gida will face Senegalese ASC Jaraaf in the first round first leg match against 20, Stade Demba Diop, Dakar, Senegal this Saturday.

Club captain Rabiu Ali said the players are in Senegal on business and will do their best to bring Nigeria a positive result for the second leg.

He also charged the people of Kano and Nigerians to continue to pray for them for the progress of the club.

The match is expected to start at 5 pm local time at Stade Demba Diop Stadium.

The return leg will be played at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna City next weekend.
