CAFCC: Enyimba Striker Reacts After South Africa Team Earn Bragging Right In Soweto

Enyimba forward Tosin Omoyele reacted after South African team Orlando Pirates boasted in Soweto with a 2-1 win at Orlando Stadium on matchday two of the CAF Confederations Cup on Wednesday night.

Deon Hotto gave the Orlando Pirates the lead in the 27th minute after new Super Eagles guest John Noble stopped Linda Mntambo’s ball.

Enyimba received a penalty late in the first half after Siyabonga Mpontshane fouled Anayo Iwuala inside the box, but Austine Oladapo made no mistake putting the ball into the net.

The Bucs, however, were relentless, and in the 76th minute, the home team earned a penalty and a chance to regain the lead after Mhango was fouled in the box.

But Mabasa sent the resulting penalty over the bar when Enyimba breathed another sigh of relief.

However, Omoyele took advantage of his Instagram account to react to the painful defeat in South Africa.

The victory lifts the Orlando Pirates to overtake Enyimba at the top of the group with four points from two games.

The NPFL champions will host Algerian club ES Setif in their next game on Thursday, April 1 at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.
