Barcelona have announced that Sergi Roberto will face the bench for two months after suffering a thigh injury during Saturday’s loss to Atlético de Madrid.
The club has also confirmed that Gerard Piqué has suffered a partial injury to the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, but a timetable for his recovery has not yet been provided.
The defensive pair join Ronald Araújo, Sergio Busquets, Ansu Fati and Samuel Umtiti in Barcelona’s treatment room, leaving Ronald Koeman with only Clément Lenglet as the club’s only senior center-back in form.
