Thomas Tuchel could be ready to quickly return to the dugout following his capture by Paris Saint-Germain, reports BILD.
The 47-year-old was fired by PSG last week, just four months after taking him to the Champions League final.
Former Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will now replace him at Parc des Princes.
Tuchel has received a £ 5.4 million reward and could take over another club immediately.
It is understood that Chelsea could be that club if Frank Lampard cannot stop his slump in form, which has seen three defeats in four Premier League matches before Tuesday’s home game against Aston Villa.
Tuchel would be interested in the job if the opportunity arose and would enjoy the opportunity to work with internationals from Germany Timo Werner, Kai Havertz and Antonio Rudiger.
There was contact between Chelsea and Tuchel when he left Borussia Dortmund in 2017
