Popular queen of Nigerian Afrobeats, Wild tiwa has criticized Journalist who criticized her album “Celia” and referred to her as a “brand in distress.”
The problem started after the journalist, Motolani alake, who works with Pulse NG, wrote a stubborn article about Tiwa Savage’s “failed career” and posted it on Twitter.

The journalist wrote on Twitter: “In the wake of @ TiwaSavage’s inclusion in @ TIME’s 2020 Best Albums list and the Twitter storm it created, it seems the time is right for this op-ed on his brand and the broader topic of ‘ Mungo Parking ‘”.
In the wake of @TiwaSavageinclusion in @TIMEThe list of the best albums of 2020 and the Twitter storm it created, feels like the right time for this opinion piece on their brand and the larger issue of ‘Mungo Parking’.

In the article, Motolani described Tiwa’s recent inclusion in the UK Time magazine’s Top 10 Albums of 2020 as “Mungo Parking”, a term that signifies a feat achieved through “Paid promotion, misinformation and / or ignorance. “.
Enraged by the editorial written by Motolani and published by Pulse, Tiwa Savage took to Twitter to call the journalist and his media house.
She criticized Motolani by letting him know that her little son Jamal has made more money than he and the entire company he works for.
“??? you know how to dress up, but you don’t want to take me when someone talks. Fight the mark. Even my son made more money than his entire company @OneMotolani @ PulseNigeria247 “ she had tweeted.
Dragging him further, he reminded her of the first time he came to interview her at her home and asked for a photo.
“Boy, you came to my house to do an interview and then you asked me for photos. Bitch, you’re a fan. Fuck you @onemotolani ? “ Tiwa Savage tweeted as she continued dragging him.
Meanwhile, Nigerians on Twitter have also taken to the platform to react to the whole saga. Check them out below;

Completely unnecessary and unsuccessful takedown of the queen by @ PulseNigeria247. @TiwaSavage it is and will always be ahead of the rest in my eyes and in millions of people. She is free to love anyone, advocate for any cause, and be promoted however she lives. Do you need ideas on topics? ?

This article is so malicious and unprofessional. This is not a review or criticism of your work, but an attempt to remove @TiwaSavage down or create a perceptual burden for her. It is in bad taste and very despicable. You guys can definitely do better. I know she can handle this.
