Mohammed Adamu, the Inspector General of Police, reportedly said that the #EndSARS protest against police brutality in Nigeria was aimed at provoking regime change and was also funded by forces inside and outside the country.

Police Inspector General Mohammed Abubakar Adamu said the fake news fueled EndSARS nationwide that culminated in the deaths of civilians, police personnel and their assets.
