Six people were killed in a fatal accident involving a gasoline tanker and a passenger bus in Anambra state on Sunday, November 22.
Confirming the accident, Kamal Musa, a route commander and public education officer with the FRSC Anambra Sector Command, said that eleven other people were also injured in the accident that occurred on the Nkwelle Ezunaka axis of the Enugu-Onitsha Highway. He said a total of 17 people, including 11 men and six women, were involved in the accident.

Musa added that the injured victims were taken to the Iyi-Enu Mission Hospital for treatment, while the dead were kept in the morgue. He blamed the accident on speeding.
“The accident occurred as a result of speeding that caused the bus to lose control and eventually crashed.

The corpses of the dead victims were deposited in the Mogue after the Doctor’s confirmation.
