See What Sunday Igboho Said After Being Accuse Of Giving Herdsmen Money to Buy Arms (Details below)

The management of T Pumpy Concept Limited has cleared the air about reports circulating on social media that it recently handed out millions to Fulani herders at FCT to purchase weapons.

Let us remember that the real estate firm through its Managing Director / Executive Director Adaralegbe Akintayo, had resettled more than 52 Fulani households in the Abuja community last week.

The property developer had previously acquired the land in phase 24, Lugbe, with the original winners and Gbagyi farmers duly compensated.

However, in an attempt to resolve the housing crisis for the Fulani who were sheltering on the company grounds, T. Pumpy’s boss gave an average of N200,000 to each of the 52 Fulani households.

His benevolence, however, was misrepresented by some social media users who claimed that he gave money to Fulani herdsmen to buy weapons.

Reacting to the development, Akintayo told reporters at a press conference on Tuesday that the report is false, unfounded and unfounded.

Therefore, he urged the general public to ignore it entirely.

Adaralegbe, who was flanked by Abubakar Suleiman, president of the FCT Fulani Dan Allah Development Association of Nigeria, said that at no point did he pay a ransom to the herders, but instead showed a humanitarian gesture towards the Fulani people who lived in huts built in an extension of land that he acquired for the purpose of building a farm.

His words: “This press conference became imperative following reports on social media that we gave money to Fulani herdsmen in Abuja to buy weapons. This report is unfounded, false and unfounded. We are real estate developers and all of our land is approved by the government. The story you are reading on social media is false. Some people are just being insensitive to the video.

“Let me tell you what happened; if you get land through government acquisitions, it is normal for you to find farmers and some settlers there. On this particular land, we were able to identify the real farmers who are Gbagyis and we established them for all their agricultural crops and their agricultural products.

“We discovered that there are also Fulani settlements (huts) on the same land where they raise their cows and where they have been residing for about 30 years. They told me they have lived there for about three decades. And we are human. We had to negotiate with them and tell them that we had the assignment of the land and that we wanted them to leave the place, and they agreed. We agreed to give them N200,000 per cabin and we installed them. It was not an incentive or giving them money to buy weapons as circulated on social media.

“That is far from the truth and a statement from the abyss of hell. The Fulanis FCT president is physically here and can explain what happened between my organizations and their people.

“T Concept Ltd is committed to complementing the government’s effort in the housing sector of the economy. It is a Pan Nigeria brand that has properties in Guzape, Lugbe, Karasana, Kuje, Wawa, Katampe, Kwali, Kyami, Life Camp and other parts of Abuja. It is also committed to the peaceful resolution of problems and coexistence among Nigerians. “

For his part, the president of the FCT Fulani Dan Allah Development Association of Nigeria, Abubakar Suleiman, said that there is nothing like paying a ransom or handing over money to buy weapons.

“We have been in that land for about 30 years. God brought this oga (T Pumpy’s boss) who wants to develop the land. He first established Gbagyis agriculture on the land before us. My people said that they also deserved to be compensated for their huts and invited me as their president in the Federal Capital Territory.

“When I got there, I met the developers clearing one side of the land. I spoke with the site engineer about how I can meet the
