Nigerian police are prepared to rescue a kidnapped Catholic priest in Abuja.

Nigeria online news reports that the Federal Capital Territory Police Command (FCT) has launched an operation to rescue a Catholic priest, who was kidnapped on Sunday in the village of Yangoji along the Kwali axis.

This online news outlet understands that the police public relations officer, ASP Yusuf Mariam, said this in a statement in Abuja on Monday.
