“On October 13, 2020, around 11 in the morning, it was reported that the suspect, Segu Titilayo, called the deceased and went to Segundo’s home, but Oritoke (Manni) could not be tracked or seen later.

“The police registered a case of a missing person for the deceased. The wireless police message on the case was widely distributed to all police formations throughout the state for their search and necessary police action as a practice.

“However, on November 7, 2020, an Adegbago David engineer from Adron Homes and Properties informed the Akodo rea Police Station in Lagos State that while the company was excavating its site in the city of Otolu, its caterpillar exhumed a decomposing corpse. Police detectives jumped into action, and hotel staff identified the body as Oritoke’s. The body was evacuated to a public morgue for autopsy.
