Nigeria online news reports that members of the Abuja Newspaper Distributors Association (ANDA) took to the streets of Abuja to protest the murder of their colleague at the hands of a security officer attached to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
The peaceful protest began after ANDA members converged on the distribution center in Area 1.
They were captured with different banners, demanding justice for the incident.

ANDA President Benji Obute had previously said that the peaceful protest was organized to draw the attention of the President and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to the incident.
However, Femi Gbajabiamila confirmed on Friday morning that the security assistant had been suspended from his convoy.
Gbajabiamila said the sad incident happened near the Federal Secretariat on Thursday when he stopped the transport to exchange courtesies with the vendors, as this was his usual practice after work.
