The Lagos panel is currently viewing Lekki’s filming video.
Nigeria online news reports that the Judicial Investigation and Restitution Panel for Victims of Abuse related to SARS and other issues in Lagos State has begun viewing 2 hours and 29 minutes of the October 20 Lekki shooting images captured by Lekki Concession Company (LCC).
This part of the total 21-hour footage starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 7:59 p.m.
Recall that the soldiers have been accused of shooting #EndSARS protesters, wounding and killing some, an accusation that the military has denied.
The shootings are believed to have occurred just over 6 p.m. on October 20.
Approximately four hours of the video was played on November 6 between 11:35 a.m. and almost past 5 p.m., with a break during recess.
But lawyers for the parties agreed to limit the 21-hour footage to relevant parts of the shootings.
The video is divided into footage of approximately 30 minutes in length.
The video was submitted by LCC CEO Abayomi Omomuwa through LCC attorney Rotimi Seriki.
The Federal Government has also denied that anyone was killed at the toll gate, after a CNN report claimed otherwise.
