A young model of Nigerian-Dutch descent has attracted the attention of social media users ever since her professional photo appeared online.
Creative viral images of a six-year-old model taken by renowned photographer Segundo Adebayo left fans stunned on social media.
Adebayo photographed the model, June at the Balogun market, Lagos, producing artistic images that have since gone viral online.
In the images, the model is captured against the tight backdrop of the busy market and dressed in a dress and headdress worthy of the MET gala.
Explaining the inspiration behind the images, Adebayo told NAN that the colors of the market, the atmosphere, and the traffic inspired him to create art with the images.
He said: “I met June in training for an ACFR Adaorable kids racing program AND she had a plastic sword in her hand dressed as a wrestler and she was performing with Larry Edun and I decided to take a picture of her unscripted play.
“It turned out to be a great take and caught his mom’s attention, so she invited me over and we both planned the shoot we have today.
“Everything was ready, but the inspiration came as soon as I saw the colors of the market, the wide street and the massive traffic,” he said.
NAN reports that commenters on social media were particularly surprised by the model’s composure in the images at such a young age.
