The story has been told of a young Nigerian girl who was forced to sew her ripped jeans in Port Harcourt.
According to Twitter influencer Lazy Writa, who narrated the story, the woman was allegedly given a needle and thread to sew her ripped jeans before she could obtain a national ID in Port Harcourt.
He said this happened even after the lady paid N3,000 to get the ID card. She also claimed that another girl was sent home for wearing a short skirt for “having no respect for the Nigerian government.”
Lazy Writa said this happened at Elimgbou Civic Center in Port Harcourt.
