President Buhari has received the report from Judge Salami’s investigative panel on Magu.
Nigeria online news reports that President Muhammadu Buhari has received the report of the investigation panel led by Judge Ayo Salami on alleged corruption charges against the suspended interim president of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, in the House of Representatives from Abuja.
At a ceremony in the Chambers of the Executive Council of the House of Representatives, the panel, led by Judge Salami, would deliver boxes of documents, believed to be volumes of the report to the president.
Recall that the panel was inaugurated by President Muhammadu Buhari in July and was given 45 days to carry out the task, but the deadline was further extended after the panel requested more time.
Magu was accused of corruption and abuse of power by the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF and the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami.
