APC Has Started Making False Promises Ahead Of 2023 Elections – Gov Wike

Nyesom Wike of Rivers State Governor has stated that the Congress of All Progressives along with other political parties in the state have been silenced following the achievements of his administration.

The governor noted that before the 2023 general elections, “APC has again begun to make false promises,” part of which is to build a Transportation University, develop a deepwater port and an industrial park in the state.

Wike made this statement during the reception organized by the Rivers State section of the People’s Democratic Party to welcome thousands of APC members back to the PDP.

Deflector leaders include the former Director of Finance and Administration of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Henry Ogiri; APC’s South-South administrative officer, Gloria Boma; Mr. Lolo Ibieneye and Alhaji Hassan Douglas.

The governor said that prior to 2015, APC had promised to transform the country, fix the East-West highway and provide good government to Nigerians, but that the party has continued to make excuses for its failure after it orchestrated the ill-fated conspiracy to eliminate President Goodluck Jonathan from office.

“Are things better today? So why do you allow people to tell you lies? How long can you keep listening to the lies of the Congress of All Progressives? They have nothing for Nigerians. It is regrettable that there is a conspiracy to remove a person from the Niger Delta as president, ”he said.
