The Ghana Tourism Authority has asked tour operators to comply with the president’s directives on controlling Covid19 in the country.
The tourism authority has issued a warning that they will begin arresting and prosecutions of flouters following the observation of several beaches are still ongoing.

Mr. Alex Boakye, Director of Quality Assurance and Standards of the authority, has indicated that operators must adhere to the directive to control the spread of the virus.
He made it known in an interview on Joy FM after President Nana Akufo Addo called on Ghanaians to adhere to all Covid 19 protocols before Christmas.

However, the Ghana Tourism Authority working group has been dispatched to check whether the directives are being followed.
