See the Moment Wizkid Tried to Teach Nigerian-British Born Presenter How to Speak Yoruba (Video)

A video has surfaced showing the moment Nigerian superstar singer Wizkid Ayo did his best to help a Nigerian-born British presenter learn to speak Yoruba.

The incident occurred during an interview conducted by the presenter identified as Julie Adenuga. The ‘Machala’ gave some lessons to the global radio host of Apple Music Beats 1 during an interactive live presentation of ‘Youtube Original’ on Starboy TV, reports Afrolic.

Julie, as she struggled with the lines from the latest Wizkid album, asked the Starboy boss to give her some Yoruba basics, and it was a really fun time. The host of the show Adenuga wrote and hosted Skepta’s documentary ‘Greatness Only’ for Noisey, also says she needed a Yoruba teacher online.

His talents have been noted and recognized with mentions in Forbes 30 under 30, Britain’s NME 500 Most Influential People, and Debrett’s 500 List: Music, with an article in Fader citing Apple dubbing Adenuga as one of the London’s top trendsetters.
