Nigerian music executive Paul O has sent an important message of brotherhood to three African music giants at war: Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy.
This comes after the stars were caught fighting at a club in Ghana.
Paul O made this appeal in a post he shared via his official Instagram page on Monday, December 28, 2020.
The CEO of Upfront & Personal pleaded with the trio to end their feud and focus on promoting African music culture.
According to him, music unites people, heals the soul and makes people dance, hence the need for the trio to set an example by burying their differences.
He urged Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy to take lessons from 2020 and remember how “temporary life is, how much more there is to accomplish and how far they have come.”
Paul O. wrote on Instagram, “Dear Sons, African Giant, Baddest OBO, and greatest Star Boy. I love you guys, you all have made monumental strides to promote African culture around the world.
Your music has helped change the face of Afrobeats and made it one of the most popular music genres today. You all have worked so hard to achieve this status and we are proud of what you have contributed to music, as talented musicians and, most importantly, as African men.
This year has taught us all valuable lessons about life, love, friendship, work and passion. Let’s not forget the reason we all started.
2020 showed us pepper, but with love, determination and unity we are here reflecting today. Let it serve as a reminder of how temporary life is, how much more there is to accomplish, and how far you’ve come.
Music brings people together, heals the soul and makes us dance. We have him to thank for the infinite vibes that he has given us.
Please Afrobeat heroes everyone has super powers, use them to unlock greatness, set an example, lead the way ??❤️ Let’s think about our family, our loved ones for a minute ?? if something goes wrong. ??♂️ “
