Controversial OAP, vlogger and entrepreneur Toke Makinwa attacked Presidential aide Lauretta Onochie following her statement on CNN’s investigative report on the events that occurred at the Lekki tollbooth on October 20.
Recall that Lauretta Onochie had accused the American news agency of lying in her documentary.
In reaction to this, Toke Makinwa wondered how the presidential aide went from “criticizing the government to blindly forgetting the side she once took.” He added that it is sad that Nigerian politicians get votes with “empty promises to do better and forget once they get there.”
“I would honestly love to ask Aunt Lauretta what changed. For example, how did you go from criticizing the government to blindly forgetting the side it once took, is that how it works? Wow
It’s honestly sad sad how they use us to get votes with empty promises to do better and once they get there, they forget. We need to sensitize the general public and educate the grassroots, if they can’t be bought, we can have a chance because ko ye mi mo o ”.
Toke also reacted to Lai Mohammed’s call for CNN to be sanctioned for his documentary on the Lekki Toll Gate shooting.
The media personality in his tweets earlier stated that Nigerian leaders always find a way to surprise people. Toke went on to say a prayer for Nigeria.
“Every time you think you’ve seen it all in Nigeria, our leaders find a way to surprise you, gpshhhh. I pray for my country with so much potential, when God? When????
Do you want to sanction CNN ??? Make it make sense ‘
