Independence Message From The Office of Miss Ebira Culture 2016/2017.
There was a time in our past when we were slaves both in mind and in body but then came a time freedom was fought for by our fathers so that we the children can enjoy the joy in been free to believe and in the right not just to exist but to coexistence. it is in this same spirit of shared freedom that i urge us all to fight for a better us. to remember that true freedom lies not in the anger or taste for revenge we harbour but in the act of tolerance we imbibe. that true freedom lies only in the amount of love we give out from the inside, and not the amount of grudge we bottle up inside. that true freedom lies in screaming out aloud for a better future for our children and wards alike, that in the spirit of independence we would become better persons so our country, our home, our refuge and our hope will become great through out lasting deeds.
