“God Told me Elections May Not Hold in 2019” – Apostle Suleman

According to the senior pastor of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide (OFM), Apostle Johnson Suleman, the 2019 general elections may not take place.

Apostle Suleman prophesied and advised Nigerians to pray for their country and their leaders in order for peace to reign and for democracy to flourish beyond 2019.

The man of God While speaking to journalist said;

“Tell Nigerians who wish to see democracy sustained, to pray for our leaders and work for peace; tell the leaders too to pray and be honest with the people they are serving, otherwise, elections may not hold in Nigeria in 2019. That is what God has shown me.”

“Produce Nnamdi Kanu Within 7 Days” – IPOB Tells FG, South-East Governors

Awka – THE Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, last night gave the federal government ans South East governors seven days to produce its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, or be prepared to face consequences that would come from the group.

IPOB media and publicity secretary, Comrade Emma Powerful said in a statement that the where about of Mazi Kanu has remained unknown several days after the attacked on his house in Umuahia by the military

According to him, IPOB members had gone deep in search to locate Kanu and his parents to no avail.

“We are giving the federal government and South East governors seven days to produce or tell us the condition of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. If he still alive, they should charge him to court because if anything happens to him, the South East governors should bear the consequences after the expiration of this notice, or they should hasten to build more prisons and acquire more weapons which they will use to k!ll more Biafrans,” Powerful said.

Powerful said further that after going through the record of IPOB members in Kanu’s compound on the day of the attack, it was discovered that about 38 members were arrested, adding that they had also not been seen to date.

The statement read: “We are once again raising alarm for the United Nation and the relevant bodies across the globe to ask Nigerian government and her security operatives to give details of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his parents, including those D€ad bodies and those picked up alive during the attack and invasion of our leader’s compound in Isiama Afaraukwu Ibeku Umuahia.

“We wonder why the South Eastern governors would decide to collaborate with Hausa Fulani oligarchy to k!ll our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and parents. Nnamdi Kanu has been using nonviolence approach for the actualization of Biafra since 2012 when the struggle for Biafra independence started.

“It is important for the Nigerian government and South East governors to produce our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu before the situation gets out of hand.

“Let the world also ask the Nigerian government and South East governors why and how they sent military to invade Nnamdi Kanu’s compound, which led to the loss of many innocent lives within five days of the operation in his compound.”

Biafra: France Denies It’s Funding IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu

The government of France has denied anything to do with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the group seeking a referendum to carve out a separate country in the South East region of Nigeria.

The federal government of Nigeria which launched a military clampdown on the separatist group last week, subsequently proscribed it a terrorist organisation.

The government also alleged that the group was being funded from France and that it would take urgent measures to block it.

But in a reaction, the Embassy of France in Nigeria has expressed surprise at the statement made yesterday (Wednesday) by the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed indicating that the “financial headquarters” of IPOB was in France.

The statement signed by the Political Counsellor, Embassy of France in Nigeria, Claude Abily, challenged the Federal Government of Nigeria to provide documentary evidence to substantiate its claims that France was the financial headquarters of the separatist group.

“The Embassy of France was surprised by the statement made yesterday by the Minister of Information and Culture indicating that the “financial headquarters” of IPOB were in France.

“We don’t have any knowledge of a particular presence of IPOB in France and the Nigerian authorities never got in touch with the Embassy on this point. We stand ready to examine any information which could support this statement.

“Furthermore, we would like to reiterate that France actively cooperates with Nigeria in the field of security and that we strongly support the unity of the country,” the Embassy said.

NNPC Begins Oil Exploration In The Sokoto Basin_MN NEWS

The Nigeria National Petroleum Cooperation (NNPC) said it has started the process that would lead to the exploration of oil and gas in the Sokoto Basin.

A statement signed by Gov. Aminu Tambuwal’s spokesman Malam Imam Imam and issued to Newsmen in Sokoto on Wednesday said that “the NNPC’s Group Managing Director, Maikanti Baro, stated this when he received Gov. Tambuwal, who paid a working visit to the NNPC Towers in Abuja’’.

“We have been on the issue of exploration in the frontier basins.

“And so far some measures of steps have been taken, as such already purchased aeromagnetic data and its being interpreted to determine the sedimentary thickness and the basin configuration.

“Secondly, we have awarded a contract for the geological mapping of the basin.

“And I am happy to state here that outcrop samples have been collected, mapped, analysed and geological modelling executed so as to ensure data integration,” Baro said

The GMD added that discussions were on-going with Integrated Data Services Limited (IDSL) to award contract for surface geochemistry, ground gravity and magnetics.

“This is necessary to determine if hydrocarbon is generated in the basins and importantly, to integrate all data for understanding of petroleum systems of the basins.

“NNPC will also carry out high resolution regional 2D seismic data acquisition to identify leads and prospects, after which a 3D seismic data acquisition will be carried out over leads and prospects.

“After all these are carried out, we will then begin to drill for oil and gas in the basin,” Baro added.

While commending Tambuwal for the visit, he assured that the cooperation was giving required attention to renewable energy and inland basins in order to create a prosperous future for the entity.

Earlier, Tambuwal said various studies had been carried out by the government on the Sokoto Basins, the result of which would be made available to the NNPC to aid its efforts.

He said the government, in collaboration with the Usman Danfodio University, would organise a national conference on the Sokoto Basin in October where international scholars would make presentations on the topic.

“We are inviting you and the NNPC to take part in this important conference because we believe it will add value in our search for hydrocarbon in the Sokoto Basin,” he said.

He said historical records indicated that the presence of hydrocarbon in the Sokoto Basin had been a subject of interest to geologists for long, a situation that made Italian oil giants, Elf, to consider preliminary exploration activities beginning from the 50s.

He said Sokoto government would welcome the start of activities and would support any effort that will lead to positive result.

Thief Congratulates Police For Arresting Him. (WATCH)

A local thief in Guinea with the name, Boubacar Diallo has reportedly congratulated the police for catching him in a video that has been trending on social media in the country.

Diallo, a student at a technical college in Mamou, and his accomplice freely admitted to stealing 50m Guinean francs ($5,600; £4,160) from a phone shop in the northwestern city.

In front of the cameras, Diallo called for more resources to be given to the police. In his words, ‘the national police head office should be congratulated. I also want to say that the police needs equipment because it has well-trained officers’.

He then added that he never imagined that he would be caught so quickly and said he regretted his crime.

See What Police Has To Say About Kanu Currently In Their Custody

Following widespread reports that the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, is in police custody, the Police has spoken out about the matter.

According to a The Sun News report, the Police Force headquarters in Abuja, yesterday said the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), was not in its custody.

This is coming just as IPOB, raised the alarm over the whereabouts of its leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, allegedly abducted by the soldiers who attacked his home in Isiama Afaraukwu Ibeku, in the ongoing operation python dance in the south east by soldiers of the Nigerian army.

Force Public Relations  Officer, Jimoh Moshood, who made this known to Daily Sun, in an interview, however, warned that the police would not hesitate to arrest any person or group of persons posing to be members of IPOB, following the proscription of the group by governors of the south east states.

Mr. Moshood, who said the police force headquarters has deployed more mobile policemen to the south east and south-south parts of the country to ensure law and order, maintains that the IPOB leader was not in Police custody.

He said the question about the whereabout of the IPOB leader should be directed to his members.

“He is their leader, they should tell us his whereabout.

“You know the IPOB, has been proscribed by the governors in those states and they remain an unlawful organization and we will ensure that we sustain peace in the area and we will not allow such an organization to disturb the public peace.

“For anybody that has committed an offense, he is liable for arrest and prosecution. But I can tell you that he is not in our custody”.

Moshood, who said the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris, has placed police personnel across the country on red alert to avoid reprisal attacks following activities of IPOB, stressed that the police have arrested some IPOB members suspected to have taken part in the burning down of a police station that eventually led to the death of a personael at Aba.

He said: “We have arrested some of those people who attacked and burnt down police station at Aba, and they have been charged to court and anybody that was linked or found to be culpable for the burning of the station which resulted to the death of one of our personnel would be prosecuted.”

Olubadan, Saliu Adetunji Sues Governor Ajimobi For Installing 21 New Kings

According to reports from Ibadan, Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Adetunji, has sued Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi and 23 others, over their involvement in the crowning of 21 kings in Ibadan on August 27, 2017.

Joined in the suit are the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in the state, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters in the state, the eight high chiefs that were elevated to kings, as well as the Baales that were conferred with kingship status.

In the suit with file number I/1077/2017, which was filed at High Court of Justice, Oyo State on September 19, 2017, the Olubadan claims that the governor violated the Chiefs Laws CAP 28 of the state, saying that Ajimobi does not possess the power and authority to confer anybody the right to wear a beaded crown and coronet.

Apart from the suit filed by Olubadan, there are others variously filed by Rashidi Ladoja, Abdul Jelil Karimu and others. The Olubadan is also claiming that the crowing of the kings is illegal and void since the governor did not consult with the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs.

The Olubadan is seeking an order setting aside the Gazette Numbers 14 and 15 of Volume 42 of August 23 and 24, 2017 made by the governor and which conferred the right to wear crown and coronet on the elevated high chiefs and Baales. He said the governor’s action violated provisions of the CAP 28 of the Chiefs Laws of the state.

Is Rapper AKA Cheat!ng on Bonang Matheba? Meet the Hot ‘Sidechick’

So, AKA was recently accused of Cheat!ng on Bonang Matheba and this has caused a stir in South African media.

Drama started when the Baddest rapper was spotted with popular Instagram model and vixen Nicole Nyaba at the viewing of Floyd Mayweather fight at Hard Rock Cafe in Sandton. And later, Nyaba posted a photo of herself posing in front of AKA’s BMW i8.

It wasn’t long before the rumour gained momentum, forcing the rapper to try to shut it down.

“It is not true. The claims are ridiculous. Someone just took a picture with my car and now I am Cheat!ng? I read the article and I think it is bullsh*t. In fact, I want anyone with pictures proving she was at the boxing with me to come forward,” he told the press.

He continued, “I don’t usually comment on my personal life but it is ridiculous. Me and Bonang are happy. It would have been believable if we were not or if we had problems. But we are in a good space and have never been stronger. It won’t change our relationship because we don’t listen to what people say.”

And Bonang did react too, saying that she will keep ignoring the rumourmongers. “Hey do it every day. We ignore them every day,” she said.

But the folks really believe the denials?

Here’s Nyaba’s ex calling her out for sleeping with AKA:

And folks quickly remembered that that when AKA named about Nicole Nyaba in his song:

Plus, didn’t AKA vehemently deny having an affair with Bonang while he was still with DJ Zinhle, only to turn out that was lying?

Folks are waiting this one out. Will the truth about AKA and Nyaba ever come to light?

Check out the hot photos of the model that’s dominating conversations on South African Twitter:

Court clears Diezani Madueke’s name off fraud charges ( Read full story )

A Federal High Court in Abuja, on Wednesday, struck out one of the nine counts of $1.6bn crude oil fraud instituted against businessman, Jide Omokore, and five others.

The Judge presiding over the case, Justice Nnamdi Dimgba, in a ruling, struck out the eighth count after hearing an application by a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, who had alleged that she was indicted in the particular count without an opportunity to defend herself.

The six, named as defendants in the case, include Omokore, his two companies, Atlantic Energy Brass Development Limited and Atlantic Energy Drilling Concepts Limited.

The other defendants are a former managing director of the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, Victor Briggs; a former group executive director, Exploration and Production of NNPC, Abiye Membere; and a former manager, at the NNPC, David Mbanefo.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had preferred nine counts of criminal diversion of about $1.6bn, alleged to be part of proceeds of sales of petroleum products belonging to the Federal Government, against the six defendants.

Alison-Madueke, who was said to be currently in the United Kingdom facing some legal proceedings, was not listed among the existing six defendants in the case to defend the charge, but she was, together with Briggs, Membere and Mbanefo, in count eight, accused of aiding Omokore in the commission of money laundering offence.

The offence she and others were accused of was said to be contrary to section 18 (a) of the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act 2011 (as amended and punishable under section 15 (3) of the same Act.”

But the former minister, through her lawyer, Dr. Onyechi Ikpeazu (SAN), on September 18, filed an application seeking among other prayers, an order directing an amendment to the charges, by adding her name as the seventh defendant to enable her to defend herself with respect to the eighth count.

Arguing the application on Wednesday, Ikpeazu said, “Count 8 having been brought against the applicant, can the applicant be validly kept out of this trial having regard to the nature of the count?  We ask the court to answer in the negative.”

But opposing the motion, the EFCC’s lawyer, Mr. M. S Abubakar, said the applicant was by her application “impliedly raising the issue of proper parties before the court”, he said, “does not arise in criminal trial.”

In his ruling, Justice Dimgba noted that the argument canvassed by the EFCC was credible but expressed concern about why the prosecution chose to include the former minister’s name  as a defendant in the eighth count, yet refused to have her named as a party on the charges “to enable her appear to clear and defend her name.”

He asked, “How can she appear to clear her name to a count when her name by the deliberate action of the prosecution has been left out of the charge?”

Ruling further, he said the position that met the justice of the case was to strike out the eighth count in order to preserve the rights of the prosecution, the defence and the former minister.

He ruled, “That solution lies in striking out count number eight entirely from the amended charge dated August 4, 2017, and I therefore accordingly strike out count number eight from the amended charge.”

Neymar Demands Paris Saint-Germain Sell Edinson Cavani Following Penalty Bust Up

Neymar is demanding Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi sell Edinson Cavani after the two South Americans were involved in an on-field bust-up on Sunday, according to reports in Spain.

The pair clashed twice during the 2-0 victory, PSG’s eighth in a row in all competitions this season, following disagreements over who should take a free-kick and a second-half penalty which Cavani missed.

Now, despite their success on the pitch, Catalan-based outlet Sport claims that Neymar is furious with the Uruguayan and believes he has attempted to undermine the superstar status he was guaranteed by Al-Khelaifi upon completing his world record move from Barcelona.

Sport also claims the 25-year-old has the support of the Brazilian enclave at PSG, which also includes the likes of Marquinhos and Lucas Moura, and has also garnered the backing of fellow new signing Kylian Mbappe.

Last Warning:- If Threatened Again, U.S. Will ‘Totally Destroy’ North Korea – Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump escalated his threats against North Korea over its nuclear challenge on Tuesday, threatening to “totally destroy’’ the country of 26 million people and mocking its leader, Kim Jong Un, as a “rocket man.’’

In a hard-edged speech to the UN General Assembly, Trump offered a grim portrait of a world in peril, adopted a more confrontational approach to solving global challenges from Iran to Venezuela, and gave an unabashed defense of U.S. sovereignty.

“The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea,’’ Trump told the 193-member world body, sticking closely to a script.

Trump, as loud, startled murmurs filled the hall, described Kim in an acid tone, saying, “rocket man is on a suicide mission for himself and his regime.’’

His remarks rattled the leaders gathered in the green-marbled UN General Assembly hall, where minutes earlier UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres appealed for statesmanship, adding that they must not sleepwalk their way into war.

Trump’s most direct military threat to attack North Korea, in his debut appearance at the General Assembly, was his latest expression of concern about Pyongyang’s repeated launching of ballistic missiles over Japan and underground nuclear tests.

His advisers say he is concerned about North Korea’s advances in missile technology and the few means available for a peaceful response without China’s help.

One man in the audience covered his face with his hands shortly after Trump made his “totally destroy’’ comment.

Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom told newsmen that it was the wrong speech, at the wrong time, to the wrong audience.

“North Korea’s mission to the UN did not immediately respond to a request for comment,’’ the North Korean UN mission said.

And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Galatians 4:6

Read: Romans 8:14-16

8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus taught us to pray by approaching God as our Father. He said

“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.” Matthew 6:9

Why did He not say “Our God”, “Our Maker” or “Our Deliverer”? It is because God wants us to have a definite, personal relationship with Him. Of all the relationships we could possibly have with God, the father-son relationship is one of the greatest. In Mark 14:36, when the Lord Jesus was facing His greatest challenge – dying on the cross of Calvary – He addressed God as “Abba, Father”, which in other words is “My Daddy”. This level of closeness with God is not exclusive to Jesus Christ alone. Romans 8:15 says,

“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”

If you compare this scripture with Galatians 4:6, you will realize that both the Holy spirit and our Lord Jesus Christ have made it possible for us to share the same kind of closeness with the Father that Jesus had. Therefore, we too can unashamedly call God, “My daddy”. If only you know how God longs to have such intimacy with you!

Intimacy with God is something you cannot do without if you are to fulfill God’s plan for your life. There is a time of need that everyone will face, which will require each of us to draw on our relationship with God. Those who have God as their creator will approach Him as “My Creator”, while those who serve Him will approach Him as “My God”. In such times, those who are intimate with Him will call Him “My Daddy”. You can be sure that one carries more weight that the others. How would you want to approach God? Would you want to approach Him as a distant Creator, as God of the universe or as your personal Father? The choice is yours. When you develop a good relationship with God, He will indeed be a father to you by acting as the fountain from which you came forth (Genesis 2:7). David understood this and he experienced a very intimate level of closeness with God. This is the reason why in Psalm 23, he could testify of enjoying that which a father provides: food, sleep, water, protection, guidance, security, goodness and mercy. These all will be yours today in Jesus’ Name! Do everything possible to build your intimacy with God!

rayer Point:
Father, draw me close to You like never before.

Nehemiah 1-3
Ezekiel 44:15-27

1. Deeper, deeper in the love of Jesus
Daily let me go;
Higher, higher in the school of wisdom,
More of grace to know.

Oh, deeper yet, I pray,
And higher every day,
And wiser, blessed Lord,
In Thy precious, holy Word.

2. Deeper, deeper, blessed Holy Spirit,
Take me deeper still,
Till my life is wholly lost in Jesus,
And His perfect will.

3. Deeper, deeper! though it cost hard trials,
Deeper let me go!
Rooted in the holy love of Jesus,
Let me fruitful grow.

4. Deeper, higher, every day in Jesus,
Till all conflict past,
Finds me conqu’ror, and in His own image
Perfected at last.

5. Deeper, deeper in the faith of Jesus,
Holy faith and true;
In His pow’r and soul exulting wisdom
Let me peace pursue.

Kechi Okwuchi, who many like to easily describe as a plane crash survivor, has proven time and again that her talent should be bigger than her story, as far as this competition is concerned.

She confirmed this herself recently when she said it might be a bit unfair to the other talents on the show if she wins because people vote for her out of pity.

It had become a “thing” among a fraction of American viewers who expressed that she was undeserving of her place especially in the finals after her Dunkin Save last week. This comment from the quarterfinals attests to this:

In his IG post, Dorayi said there are several norther singers who should have been conferred with the title instead of Korede Bello.

He described the action of the emirate council as dem0ralizing to northern youth emphasizing that ‘’no matter how bad indigenous Hausa singers are, it is not fair to cross over to Lagos to pick Sarkin wakan Kano.
According to the producer, in his Hausa written post, although the title is yet to be made official, still ‘’It is not surprising, because northern elites have been like that, they look for us only when they are in need afterwards they short change us for Lagos chaps. .

All sleepless nights our musicians have been having to bring our traditional leaders and northern politicians to the limelight all they get in return was to have the title shipped to Lagos’’ he lamented.

Speaking further in a telephone chat with DailyTrust, Dorayi said:

‘’In fact, before Sanusi became the emir of Kano, Nazir had envisaged and fore told in his songs of Sanusi becoming Sarkin Kano and it came to pass. I am of the opinion that if justice should be done none deserves this title but Nazir Ahmad’’ he added.
